Obon week in Japan

The Obon or Bon (Japanese Buddhist custom to honor the spirits of our ancestors, formally called urabon (うらぼん / 盂蘭盆) on July 15th in the old calendar) week in mid August is one of the biggest holidays in Japan.

We served Tea with Traditional Japanese Sweets (Lotus flower, Symbol of Japanese Buddhism).

Have a great week!
