Neighborhood - Honzen-ji Buddhist Temple

Tokugawa Ieyasu was the founder of the Tokugawa shogunate that ruled Japan.

He visited here to enjoy falconry, from Edo castle, by the highway "Onari-Kaido" (Yesterday's Blog http://bit.ly/MKm20x). and he planted this kumquat tree (the second photo) in Honzen-ji Buddhist Temple.

You can touch it and feel the spirit of the Samurai, even now...

Visit Japanese countryside! and visit us.
