The temple has double kamon (crest).
Gosangiri and Mitsudomoe.
Gosangiri means "Seiganji temple" built by Samurai Toyotomi Hideyoshi in 1592. It was later renamed "Kongobuji": the Head Temple of Koyasan Shingon Buddhism.
Mitsudomoe means "Kukai" who established Shingon Buddhism during the Heian era. He was given the posthumous name of "Kobo Daishi" by Emperor.
