Hangeame in Japan

It's rainy here..... 



Today, July 1 is Hangesho, one of the miscellaneous solar terms in Japan. 

This day is an important turning point for farmers in Japan. On this day it was said to fall the Mephitis from the sky, and people cover the wells to avoid them. 


If rain falls around this time, it is called hangeame.
