Zuiun, auspicious clouds

"瑞雲 (Zuiun)" in Japanese which means auspicious clouds, by Roshi Sekioh Tajima from Nanshu-ji Buddhist Temple. This Nanshu-ji Buddhist Temple burned to the ground during the battle fought between Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Tokugawa Ieyasu, and was rebuilt in 1617.

As you know, "Sen no Rikyu" was the highest authority in Japanese tea ceremony. He was born in Sakai-city, Osaka in 1522 and underwent Zen training in this temple.

If you're interested in Japanese Tea Ceremony, visit "Osaka" and you can see a pagoda built in memory of the Sen family and feel his Zen Sprit.

Nanshu-ji Buddhist Temple: 3-1-2 Minami-Hatago-cho Higashi, Sakai-ku, Sakai City, Osaka Pref.
